Born to be feed...
It all started about 40 years ago in the province of Padua, from the entrepreneurial idea of the two Vanzetto brothers who realized how crucial it was to take care of the nutrition of income-generating animals, both to enhance their well-being and, consequently, to improve the relationship between production and income.
Today, Tecnozoo has been a presence in the national and global livestock panorama for over 35 years, and the philosophy that has always characterized the company is oriented towards the pursuit of improvement in the farming system in all its aspects and species: nutritional, managerial, health, and economic.
Over the years, working groups have been developed within the company, each specifically dealing with a single category of income-generating animals (dairy cows, young cattle, white meat calves, poultry, pigs, rabbits) but also with sports and companion animals (horses, camels, dogs, cats, aquarium fish, sports fishing).
The sports and companion animal division aims at improving the animal's performance or attractiveness, as in the case of sports fishing, always considering the feed's nutritional efficiency to be fundamental.
Certified and State-of-the-Art Quality
Creating Complementary Feeds (Supplements) with an immediately visible effect on animals is not a simple task, and that's precisely why all Tecnozoo products are formulated only with researched and certified raw materials.
This ensures that each element can be rapidly assimilated to support the resolution of the animal's issues or enhance its performance. To guarantee the highest quality and the best possible process, Tecnozoo has certified its production over the years. Currently, the company is ISO 9001 and CSQA certified, and all products are also free of GMOs.
The core production facility is the powder and pellet plant, equipped with the most innovative technologies, recognized as one of the most modern in the European context. Established in 2017, it allows for a daily production of 1000 tons per day.
Tecnozoo's Special Departments!
Some departments hold this designation, such as the Block Plus production line (with one plant on-site and another located in Brazil) and the ZooFishing production line for sports fishing.
The reason they are considered special is tied to the fact that, in addition to the existing standards for all productions (certified raw materials and nutritional studies by veterinary technicians), they also benefit from research and development of plant technologies, entirely carried out within the company.
In this way, Tecnozoo has managed to establish itself in sectors considered "niche," quickly becoming a reference point with high-performance products for users.
Experience at the service of Carp Fishing
ZooFishing was born in 2007 from the idea of Daniel Gemin, Technical Manager for the development of new technologies (as well as a passionate angler!) who believes he can create a niche production within the large company.
Two fully autonomous production lines were thus developed and built from scratch on proprietary Mixes: the Boilies Line with a production capacity of up to 1000 kg / 8h (photo of the room) and the Block Bait Line with a production capacity of 2000 spheres / 8h (photo of the room).
To complete the work, the liquids section, managed carefully and precisely, equipped with Turboemulsifiers with a capacity of up to 500 liters (photo of Turboemulsifiers).
Our secret is the well-being of the carp!
Studying bait exclusively from a nutritional standpoint is unnecessary! Despite baiting being the basic technique in Carp Fishing to "condition" the feeding activity of the carp, making a bait highly nutritious does not necessarily lead to better results, even during extended baiting sessions.
An undisputed fact agreed upon by all animals, verified with concrete data, is that animals eat "tasty and good" food for long periods regardless of the energy it provides.
The quantity and frequency, however, vary depending on their health: they eat little if they are unwell or satiated and eat a lot if they are healthy and not satiated. Therefore, we strongly believe in helping the fish to feel good and not be satiated, precisely to induce them to approach our bait frequently and eagerly.
The Boilies line that takes shape in our laboratories is formulated with particular attention to the well-being of the carp. The use of pre-cooked and selected flours is fundamental, and the egg is the only binder used, but the insertion of various sources that help the fish maintain a high state of well-being is particularly and consciously cared for.
Essential amino acids, fats, and aromas are also included to make the bait extremely attractive and capable of stimulating voracity over the bait. However, let's remember that only a healthy and unsatiated fish is easier to catch!
A continuous challenge rich in transparency
A fundamental and transparent aspect is the information the company provides to its consumers. Each product is registered as "Complementary Feed for Carp," and the label contains complete data regarding its production, production batch, production date, and expiration date.
